Ultra Runner, Mountain Climber, Adventure Seeker
Exploring what’s possible in a day.
I currently own the record for most 14,000’ peaks climbed in a single day as well as the US highpointing world speed record (contiguous 48 states). My climbing partner and myself are most likely the only people to have climbed Mt. Rainier and Mt. Hood in the same day.
I have finished in the top 10 of every ultra-marathon I’ve completed and been on the podium of 9 of the last 10 (with the lone exception being the Hennepin night 50k, my second ultra of the day). I hold double digit speed records (FKT’s) on trails across the country & world.
I started “one day” trips as a way to remove time and budget constraints when I noticed an early morning departure and late night arrival on the same day were the cheapest plane tickets. I’ve since lead over a hundred runners up 14ers, across mountain ranges & along beaches over the course of one day.
